For most gyms, a screen & recoat is a one-day job. Then plan 7 to 14 days of cure before heavy play — the exact window depends on humidity. A full sand & refinish is a larger, multi-day project. Either way, we schedule around your reopening so the floor's ready when you need it.
A screen & recoat lightly abrades the existing finish and adds fresh coats — great for maintenance and bringing back the gloss. A sand & refinish takes the wood back to bare for floors that are worn, grey, or damaged.

We don't recommend it. Tape pulls up the finish when it comes off and leaves glue behind. We can paint the lines you need, like pickleball courts, and seal them under the finish so they last.
Most gyms do best with a screen & recoat about once a year. We'll book the same window each year so it's never a scramble, and a deep auto-scrub between coats is available as its own line.
